Responsible for providing technical guidance/leadership to the team, reviewing the code quality, and ensuring the solution adhere to Schroders standards. Work closely with Technical lead for design review and documentation of project solutions. Work with colleagues from other agile teams and shared service teams to both communicate technical requirements and resolve dependencies. Contribute to the System Demo for stakeholders. Responsible to support team members to improve their software development skills and experiences. Contribute to the Developer's forum. Responsible for contributing to agile planning, including sizing stories, parsing user stories into tasks etc. Contribute effectively in Schroders Agile ceremonies. Performing the role of Scrum Master for the agile team if required to do so. Job Requirements Strong technical experience on Python, Foundry AWS. Strong understanding of design patterns. Solid technical capability in respect of developing technology solutions, both in-house developed bespoke applications and commercially available off the shelf solutions. Experience of working with global colleagues and stakeholders and sensitivity to cultural differences, time zones etc. Experience on team management is preferred. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Good to Have Some understanding of the business context in the Asset Management Industry is preferred. Experience in C#, .NET Core, Azure is a plus. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies is a plus. Experience in Snowflakes / Denodo is a plus. Experience in Power BI / Xceptor / Tableau is a plus. Experience in Shift-Left testing is a plus. Qualifications: 7 - 10 years related development experience. Educated to at least undergraduate degree level in a numerate subject, preferably computer science or similar. Technical Professional Certifications is a plus, e.g., Azure Solution Architect Certificate, AWS Cloud Practitioner Certificate, Certified Associate in Python Programmer.
