Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A Lead Developer for our Philippines based development team, and closely aligned with our Australian developers
• Deliver leading applications solving problems that directly impact food production globally
• Will take high level concepts and lead development of technical solutions, with experience in system architecture being immensely valuable
• Travel to our Sydney based headquarters to work closely with the company's leadership team in aligning deliverables and driving performance.
• Tech stack includes: Node.JS, GraphQL, ReactJS, React Native, PostgreSQL, AWS (Cloud Formation, Code Pipelines, IoT Core, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, SQS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with the following technologies: TypeScript and NodeJS / SQL and Relational Databases (preferably PostgreSQL) / Web App Development (preferably ReactJS) / Mobile App Development (preferably React Native or Flutter) / Git
• Experience as lead or senior developer in early stages project design and implementation
• Proven technical and people leader, able to align vision, mentor, motivate and scope delivery for dev team
• Experience managing a dev team as an extension of an Australian / offshore team with aligning vision and instilling the organizations core values
• Enjoy collaborating with others, understanding, and solving customer needs and business challenges. Open to receiving and providing feedback to arrive at the best possible solutions.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Extensive ecosystem knowledge of new technologies in your domain
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across teams as well as report upwards
