Our product managers are responsible for discovering the needs of both our current and future users. They achieve this through conducting market research and split testing. Our product managers work closely with designers, researchers, engineers, product marketers, and data analysts to ensure that we deliver value to millions of users around the world. Product managers at ExpressVPN are fully empowered to lead cross-functional teams, taking ownership and delivering impact on critical user and business metrics, such as engagement, retention, and user satisfaction. In this role, you will work at the forefront of our company mission, enabling millions in over 180 countries to access the free and open internet by ensuring reliable access and a high quality of service that provides freedom from censorship. Role Responsibilities

• Own and drive the strategy and roadmap for our core VPN service to ensure online freedom.
• Spearhead discovery for new and innovative ways to sell our value proposition to more customers looking for greater internet freedom.
• Define the right KPIs to provide visibility and accountability on service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with our research and data teams to drive to a deeper understanding of our customers and the competitive landscape.
• Facilitate and foster cross-team collaboration across business stakeholders, design and engineering teams to align objectives, remove blockers, and increase our velocity to impact for our customers.
• Communicate with clarity and cater messages to various audiences from executives to engineers with an innate ability to reduce complex ideas down to a simple narrative.

Role Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of delivering high-impact products.
• You are comfortable discussing technical details and communicating with developers on technical topics.
• You have a high bar across the board for your own contributions, for the people you work with, and for the products you work on.
• You are customer-centric \xe2\x80\x93 you think about the "why" before the "what". You are passionate about building positive user experiences, and unwilling to allow product challenges to impact users negatively.
• You have strong business sense \xe2\x80\x93 you are comfortable getting into the details of budgets, building and analyzing financial models, negotiating partnerships, and discussing high-level business strategy.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and experimentation to align teams and drive strategic decisions.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• You are experienced and skilled with agile development methodologies.
• You hold a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice skills to have, but not required:

• Experience working with network design and architecture.
• Experience working in technical environments such as VPNs, cloud cybersecurity, content delivery networks, cloud service providers, and major IP carrier networks.
• Previous working experience in an engineering discipline.
