Job Description

Contracts Management Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, proposals and other legal documents as needed by the Emperador group. Data Privacy Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in (i) implementing the data privacy manual of the group and (ii) monitoring DPOs of subsidiaries and their compliance with data privacy laws in the Philippines, Spain and Scotland. Legal Research Proactively conduct research and analysis on laws and regulations applicable to the group (including laws in countries where the group have presence), and prepare briefs on the same for submission to the Senior Counsel. Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Manages the group's global intellectual property (IP) database, ensures timely filing of IP requirements and liase with IP team and external counsels, located in the Philippines and abroad Government Relations and Compliance Represents the company, prepares communications and coordinate with government agencies affecting the business. Supervises the compliance staff in matters relating to registration of company products with the Food and Drug Authority. Business Enablement Support the Senior Counsel in the implementation of strategic initiatives to promote the group's objectives, and assists in the conduct of due diligence on certain group's projects.Desired Qualifications:Member of the Integrated Bar of the PhilippinesAt least three (3) years' functional work experience and at least two (2) years' experience in a reputable law firm or legal role in a multinational corporationExperience in competition and data privacy law is an advantageExcellent organizational skills with ability to manage numerous projects in a fast paced environmentExcellent written and communication skillsProactive in assisting the Senior Counsel and can meet deadlinesWilling to travel for workJob Type: Full-timeSalary: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per monthSchedule:
