Legal Counsel (entertainment)
Job Description
Our client is a Singapore-headquartered Entertainment company with strong regional footprints across the ASEAN region. They are looking for a Legal Counsel to join them on the Group level.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will be responsible for the legal and compliance functions, where you draft and advise on commercial agreements, drive negotiations and provide legal and regulatory advice. As the legal business partner, you will also participate in business strategy meetings to discuss on product development and launches, marketing & advertising campaigns and jurisdictional expansion to deliver legal solutions and advice.
Qualifications
You are a common law qualified lawyer with at least 4 years PQE practicing as a corporate and commercial lawyer. Prior in-house experience with familiarity being in a lean environment would be highly regarded. As this is an individual contributor role, you should be self-motivated and resourceful, you can partner well and interact effectively with stakeholders across levels and jurisdictions.
