Responsibilities: . Provide legal advice on all business activities of our offices in the Asia-Pacific region, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts . Draft and prepare legal documentation, internal reports and contract templates . Advice and support on contentious matters in the region . Ensure that compliance/data privacy issues/licensing issues are being appropriately handled and escalated when necessary . Keeping updated of industry developments and legal trends . Assist on ad-hoc special projects . Supervise a small team . Any other duties as may be assigned Requirements: . At least 6 years PQE, of relevant legal experience in a regional law firm or in-house legal team. . Past experience with legal and compliance work in telecommunications industry will be highly regarded. . Experienced with master services agreements, procurement contracts, as well as other contracts frequently used in the info-communications and technology industry . Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin essential to communicate with Mandarin-speaking associates and to draft and review Mandarin documentation and contracts. . Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. . Balanced interpersonal style, good communication skills, a team player, and able to work effectively with all levels
