Job Description
Roles and Supporting Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in specific sections as assigned.
- Conducting stock-take of ingredients
- Preparing and ensuring the sufficiency of mise en place
- Preparing food & stocks for a particular meal period
- Ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards within the recipe guidelines.
- Preparing station specific food dishes
- Ensuring that there is no cross-contamination of foods.
- Responsible for cleaning the kitchen after a service period.
- Report any defects in machinery and equipment to the Chef
Job Requirements
- At least 1- 2 years of related working experience.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Keen for opportunities to learn to be multi-skilled and trained.
- Able to commit 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Location – Teck Lim Road (Walking distance from Outram Park or Maxwell MRT Station)
