Job Description

Role Description: This position requires someone reliable and knowledgable in operations and logistics duties and requirements to plan, coordinate and oversee the entire operational flow and movement of all goods within the organization. This role ensures that all orders are fulfilled by providing the correct quantity of ordered goods and sending products to the appropriate locations at scheduled times.

Specific Responsibilities: 1. Planning, managing, overseeing and coordinating all logistics and operations processes. Ensure that all products and services are shipped and delivered on time.

2. Responsible for overseeing production of all goods and products and ensuring that proper quality checks are carried out for all products in order to boost the efficiency of production to produce maximum results.

3. Manage and coordinate the storage and security of all company products and goods within warehouses and other logistics sites to optimize efficient inventory movement and tracking of stocks.

4. Responsible for utilizing software like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other logistics and operations-related software to optimize and organisaion of schedules for all shipments and deliveries. Learn to use software to manage and track inventory and production rates to maximize cost-effectiveness.

5. Be responsible for building good rapport and working closely with commercial shippers to make deals for a lower shipping cost, optimizing company profits, and efficiently arranging shipments and deliveries.

6. Responsibilities includes monitoring processes to come up with strategies to improve and increase profitability, and implementing operations in logistics. Another responsibilty is to come up with sales recovery strategies for the company to handle any disputes and ensure that all logistics and operations segments are running smoothly.
