Manage and generate Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Set-up and all after-purchase activities to ensure execution to product delivery schedule. This is in support of various Business Functions
Perform inventory planning functions for stock held at 3rd Party Service Provider Distribution Centres throughout Asia
Manage inventory levels at 3rd Party Service Provider Distribution Centres throughout Asia to ensure Safety Stock, Fill Rates, E&O levels, etc. are kept within PKI guidelines. Run effective Returns programs for both Customer and internal PKI returns
Purchase and ensure timely delivery of special (Non-PKI) materials from external suppliers to meet the specific requirements of customer sales orders.
Identify, qualify, select and manage sources of supply for all inventory and non-inventory requirements
Provide guidance and order management support to Sales and Customer Care Teams, as well as Service Logistics and Manufacturing Sites
Working knowledge of all processes used within the Logistics Team to accomplish their objectives, and ability to provide capable back-up to other Team Members during high-activity periods, vacations, or as needed
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree preferably in Business/Materials Management/Logistics
Work Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in Logistics / Materials Management / Purchasing fields
Key capabilities expected for the job
Strong knowledge of SAP
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Knowledge of import/export policy and tax regulations
