JOB OVERVIEWThe Logistics Specialist is responsible for providing full customer support within the branch. He/she must have outstanding communication skills, an exemplary eye for accuracy and detail, and can perform all duties and responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Familiarize himself/herself with all SRB Cargo services and all general information that may be asked by customers.
- Greet, address, and thank customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Entertain walk-in customers with their inquiries and provide calculations as needed.
- Accept over-the-counter shipments from customers following SRB Cargo's standards and acceptance rules.
- Check waybills, invoices, and official receipts to ensure that all details and the total amount collected are accurate.
- Encode new bookings with all available information.
- Monitor pickups and deliveries to ensure the quality of our services and meet customer goals.
- Assist in encoding all branch collections and expenses and update on a daily basis.
- Assist in preparing Invoices and O.Rs and make sure that they are sent out in a timely manner.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
