Job Function: After Sales Service Repair



The person will be responsible for the following:

  • Import Operations - Coordinating all inbound freight activities with carriers, government bodies and other logistics functions to ensure timely receipts of inbound shipments; resolving all inbound issues; preparing and ensuring documents and records are in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Export Operations - Freight bookings with shipping line or forwarder/airline; preparing, validating and submitting export documentation; ensuring third party warehouse providers correctly pack and label shipments and goods are collected and dispatched on time; submission of ensuring maintenance of proper records for compliance, providing estimated shipping cost.
  • Handling Singapore domestic deliveries - load planning and arranging delivery trucks with local 3rd party warehouse provider to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Resolve non-conformant logistics and transportation issues regarding imports/ exports and communicates with supply chain, sales operations and/or customer order service teams as appropriate.
  • Work with warehouses, brokers and transportation providers to ensure streamlined procedures in line with our business and products. Ensure third party logistics providers are in compliance with applicable regulations, meeting and/or exceeding the performance indicators and service levels.
  • Facilitate and participate in quarterly reconciliation of inventory with warehouse and quarterly physical inventory count for all external sites.
  • Maintenance of records according to regulatory requirements for import and export processes.
  • Generating reports for analysis/activity on a periodic basis or upon request for APAC logistics and warehousing functions.
Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic individual, with regional experience in the management of freight requirements and best warehousing management practices and inventory management protocol.

The individual must have a solutions/outcomes-based approach supporting the variety of functional stakeholders across the business to meet the logistics requirements of the market. They shall be a good communicator, and able to engage with both internal and external stakeholders alike.

The candidate must be able to manage their time well, and appropriately pursue multiple priorities simultaneously. They should be experienced working in a high-pressure, high-tempo, fast paced environment, and should enjoy this type of operating environment. They shall have good organizational skills, and high ability to multi-task with request from multiple functional representatives.

The Individual
  • Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field advantageous
  • 2+ years in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task and manage time
  • High level of initiative & desire to succeed. Self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Act with minimum supervision.
  • High level of customer/stakeholder focus.
  • Fast learner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
