Job Summary: Reporting to Outlet Chef, you will assist in ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations in various aspects. A fast track career progression through a comprehensive training programme.

:

  • Assist the Outlet Chef/ Outlet Manager in-charge in ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations.
  • Responsible for food preparation, cooking and keeping the kitchen an equipment clean
  • Responsible for assisting the Outlet Chef in preparing and cooking of food
  • Position kitchen staff according to operation needs to maximize kitchen efficiencies
  • Understand food cost models and how these impact the profitability of the restaurants responsibilities, Menu Execution and Delivery
  • Manage kitchen inventory levels and quality by placing orders for all food and kitchen supplies based on projected store demand endorsed by chef; and upon delivery, check to ensure quality of delivered supplies
  • To support by providing inventory report detailing usage & stock level, wastage and product shelf life while considering sales pattern and kitchen storage capacity
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Polytechnic or equivalent or Degree & above qualification.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skill.
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skill.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good organise skill and goal focus.
  • Good working attitude and willingness to pick up new learning.
  • Fast learner and have an eye for detail.§
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player
  • Possess a CAN-DO ATTITUDE.
