Job Description

Role Overview The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes which aligns with customer's specifications and recommendations. This individual will also test products and make adjustments where necessary. Role Responsibility

• Develop high precision equipment for the semiconductor back-end

• Define requirements and validation plans based on system level specs

• Analyse and solve design challenges

• Work closely with Electrical Engineering and Software teams to achieve module performance

• Take ownership and drive projects and issues to closure

• Design mechanical subsystems for semiconductor material transport

• Conceptualize, design and create drawings in CAD

• Specify commercial components to achieve target performance

• Perform structural analysis

• Optimize designs for manufacturability, durability and ease-of-use

• Test prototypes and validate module performance

• Develop and execute validation tests for mechanical subsystems

• Leverage various software tools and lab equipment to collect data

• Optimize servo axis performance

• Degree in Engineering

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in relevant industry

• Proven track record in product development

• Cross-functional ability and strong analytical skills (FEA, MATLAB, coding)

• Advanced knowledge of high precision electro-mechanical components

• Expert knowledge in 3D CAD design tools such as NX or ProEngineer

• Experience and familiarity with semiconductor equipment

• Experience with optimization of dynamic structures

• Experience with thermal, fluid and pneumatic systems

• Experience and competence with collaborative, multi-site development teams

• Effective verbal & written communication skills

• A positive attitude, an open mind set and a team-oriented nature
