The Manager, Communications and Engagement, plays a crucial role in driving effective communication strategies, content development, strategic partnerships and leveraging data analytics to optimize marketing efforts.Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central hub for all internal and external communications within the Education Division, managing traditional and new media matters to ensure a consistent brand message across various platforms. Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, published resource materials, and online media content (websites, social media pages) to effectively communicate the division\'s initiatives and achievements.- Play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and engagement of divisional materials such as flyers, newsletters, and electronic direct mailers (EDMs) through editorial input. Oversee the consistent publication of content on various platforms, ensuring alignment with the organization\'s branding and communication strategies. Collaborating with contracted vendors, when necessary, to contribute to the production of marketing materials and content.- Support the successful execution of events and initiatives by collaborating with management to engage sponsors as required. Build and maintain relationships with the Education Division\'s school, government, and industry partners to foster collaboration and support for the organisation\'s initiatives.- Utilise data analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies, providing insights to optimize future campaigns and initiatives. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance audience engagement, content performance, and overall marketing effectiveness. SCIENCE CENTRE SINGAPORERequirements
The ideal candidate should possess a good Degree in communications, public relations or related disciplines with at least 3 years\' experience in a communication, marketing or public relations role within an educational or scientific establishment.The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while also being a self-directed learner with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest trends in online media, particularly in the context of STEM education.He/She should possess excellent listening and communication skills, be comfortable and confident in presenting and engaging with others, and exhibit resourcefulness and high motivation, especially in situations requiring innovative planning and implementation.Additionally, the candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills in English, effective networking and negotiation abilities, organizational proficiency, and the capacity to manage a demanding workload within tight deadlines.Competency in ICT skills, including social media, is essential, and fluency in other languages would be advantageous.Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.About Science Centre Board:The Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experience, and to contribute to the nation\'s development of its human resource.
