In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:(1) Providing practical in-house legal advice and support to business units across several jurisdictions within the organisation on various types of financing, including secured and unsecured loans, syndicated and bilateral facilities, trade finance transactions and ISDA transactions.(2) Drafting, reviewing and negotiating banking and finance transaction documentation, including loan agreements, security documents, guarantees and other related instruments.(3) Preparing, maintaining and updating template documentation to incorporate changes in applicable law and internal policies.(4) Providing appropriate instructions and supervising the performance of services by the external law firms.(5) Keeping updated on industry trends and developments in banking and finance law to advise internal stakeholders accordingly.Requirements:Requirements(1) Qualified as an advocate and/or solicitor or barrister in a common law jurisdiction, with a minimum of 7 years PQE working on banking and finance transactions, preferably with some experience representing borrowers.(2) Possess a strong understanding of financial products, and is familiar with banking terminology, LMA and APLMA documentation, and market standards - experience with trade finance and/or ISDA documentation will be a plus.(3) Have excellent negotiation and drafting skills, is detail-oriented and organised, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.(4) Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to new situations and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.(5) Be proficient in English (verbal and written), while possession of a working knowledge of Chinese / Mandarin will be viewed as an advantage.When you send us your resume and personal details, it is deemed you have provided your consent to us retaining your information in our talent recruitment database.
