The Industry & CUGE Division (Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology) of the National Parks Board oversees the industry development, applied research and skills training for sectors and industries under the purview of NParks such as landscaping, conservation/ecology, orchids, fauna such as ornamental fishes etc. Our goal is uplifting companies and people in these sectors by enhancement of productivity, improvement in business operations and raising the level of professionalism of the sectors and also enabling digitalisation and innovation for the industry

What the role is

You will be part of the team that plan and develop space, buildings and infrastructure for nursery and farm plots. Your role involvement will be in digital mapping using geographical information system (GIS) and project & facilities management for nursery and farm plots.

What you will be working on

Creating data in GIS for land plots, buildings, infrastructure & services etc. Maintenance of state buildings and properties. You will be required to prepare and extract data from databases and systems.

Managing both development and facilities contracts for farm and nursery land. This includes the management & coordination of surveyors, consultants, contractors and the relevant authorities

What we are looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Real Estate or other related fields of study

Competent in using AutoCAD, BIM software

Good listening and interpersonal skills are essential as these positions involves interacting with a wide range of industry partners

Ability to speak Mandarin and dialects will be an advantage to engage stakeholders who may not be English speaking,

The job requires strong analytical, planning, organising and presentation skills
