Storhub Singapore 319516July 2024 onwards: 25 Ubi Road 4, Ubix, Singapore 408621The JobReporting to the Senior Manager, you will play the part of a Data Engineer to build and design our Enterprise Data Platform for optimal data retrieval to facilitate the development of dashboards and other visualizations for our Senior Management and business stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesTo design, build and test the deployment and operation phases of the Enterprise Data Platform for current and future projects.Review, construct or re-structure, test and maintain data architectureReview and establish best practices for data management, reporting and securityImprove data foundational procedures, guidelines and standardsEvaluate datasets and identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and qualityComprehend, design, acquire and manage organizational datasets that support analytics to achieve business goalsOptimize data retrieval to facilitate development of dashboards and other visualizations for stakeholdersPrepare fundamental data for prescriptive and predictive modelingCoordinate with CapitaLand\xe2\x80\x99s infrastructure teams to complete planned tasks and problem-solving where necessarySupport data management projects when needed and perform additional data related tasksRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical disciplinesAt least 5 years of data engineering or data application software engineering experienceExperience in object-oriented design, coding and test patterns as well as experience in engineering software platforms and large-scale data infrastructureIn-depth knowledge of data modelling and understanding of different data structures, benefits and limitations under particular use casesHands-on working experience with big data systems (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark)Extensive knowledge in SQL, Scala and Python programming languagesExperienced in Microsoft stack of analytics products (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, Integration Services, Data Quality, Master Data Services, Power BI)Possesses a strong willingness to learn on the job continuously, embracing new and varied technologies that are centered around all aspects of data managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills, can-do attitude and willingness to perform hands-on work is necessaryOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.Closing Statement:At CapitaLand, we advocate fair employment practices, and recruit talents based on merit and fit with our Corporate values.
