Assume role of Workplace Safety Health (WSH) Officer for the company and discharge its duties under the WSH Act and other applicable regulationsPlan and conduct safety audits by inspecting workplaces to ensure compliance of the requirements and regulations under WSH Act for eg. noise control, work-at-height, confined spaceDevelop practical risk management measures for implementation at the workplacesPrepare, submit and archive monthly safety inspection reports, meeting minutes and statistics by the Management and relevant authorities and/or any other reports or submissions as required by relevant authorities;Plan and conduct workplace accident/incident investigations and follow-up actions according to WSH Act and Work Injury Compensation Act;Design and promote WSH programmes and initiativesCoordinate and liaise with relevant government agencies on all matters pertaining to WSH;Establish the company\xe2\x80\x99s WSH committee and assume secretariat role to record, archive and follow-up on WSH committee matters;Plan and prepare the company for safety-related certification like bizSAFE 3, ISO14001 and ISO45001RequirementsDiploma in Engineering7 years of Safety Officer experiencesFamiliar with managing ISO management system.Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO) license issue by Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is requiredFire Safety Manager (FSM) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certifications are preferable\xe2\x80\x8b
