Partner with the site Plant Manager and management team to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, resource management, employee relations, performance management, skills management, programs and policies and leadership development.
Provide advice, direction and training to the management team on any business issues, procedures and initiatives.
Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures for recruiting, rewarding, retaining, recognizing and developing people at site.
Ensure compliance to corporate policies, government regulations and laws by keeping abreast of legislative decision, changes in employment laws and regulations to limit legal exposure and liability.
Manage the rollout of Corporate Human Resource Programs at the site level such as compensation and benefits policies, guidelines and programs like Talent Management, Succession Planning, E-Learning.
Manage the annual HR cycles including performance reviews, merit increases and bonuses.
Takes the lead with the employee lifecycle including recruitment, training and development, coaching and mentoring in people management, exit interviews and reporting etc.
