Responsible for communications plans that support the University’s brand, corporate communications and marketing strategy and framework. Core communications portfolio covers marketing communications for Student Recruitment campaigns, internal/change communications, and high visibility University-level events. You will have access to a panel of creative and media planning agencies collaborating closely with you to create impactful campaign outcomes with clear, defined metrics. Work with Senior Manager to plan and launch student recruitment campaigns to generate demand and leads to Open House and course preview talks leading up to University admission season
Manage agencies involved in campaign planning and production, ensuring timely campaign launch, campaign metrics are met through high quality campaign execution
Responsible for the University’s core corporate collaterals (annual reports, corporate slides, year-end greeting cards) in close alignment with brand messaging
Support Senior Manager as Events Lead by developing and maintaining high standards and processes, including updating and maintaining University-wide events calendar
Develop compelling themes and agendas for high-impact University events including ministerial visits and University forums
Plan and executive internal comms campaigns and measure their effectiveness, working with a network of internal comms staff representatives and external agency
Act as the Content and Editorial Co-Lead for the staff portal and develop engaging content including planning of editorial calendar, producing and editing content from other schools/departments from across the University
Provide timely reports (eg: visitorship, page views etc) and leverage analytics for learning and further enhancements of the staff portal
Support and coordinate time-sensitive internal communications across all relevant platforms
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing or equivalent field of study
8 - 10 years of communications experience in integrated marketing campaign management, corporate communications, public relations, content marketing in in B2C practice, with strong exposure to digital platforms and content management systems (eg: Sharepoint or Sitefinity)
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with editorial flair and strong creative judgement. Proficiency in Chinese language would be advantageous
Experienced in event marketing and related protocol, particularly those involving C-suite and government officials
Result-oriented team player who is able to work independently with learning agility
Tech-savvy with knowledge of applications/tools (eg: Canva, PhotoShop, Qualtrics) would be advantageous
