About this opportunity

The Manager, Payroll APAC, will report to the Senior Finance Manager SEA and be responsible for payroll processing in various countries, payroll vendor management, income tax support and compliance with local regulations.

In this role, you will\xe2\x80\xa6

• Handle the payroll function for APAC markets, including Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, ANZ and India.
• Work with Finance, HR and payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, statutory contributions and income tax (IR8A)
• Process payroll related invoices
• Prepare the accounting entries for payroll and payroll related accruals as well as the month end reconciliations
• Support the sourcing, management and review of vendors
• Ensure the wide variety of payroll information, files and records via written electronic formats are up-to-date
• Process tax clearance where necessary (IR21)
• Timely submission of MOM survey or any other required labor statistics surveys
• Ensure compliance with local practices and regulations
• Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required
• Any other tasks assigned from time to time

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need \xe2\x80\xa6

• Possess a relevant Diploma/Bachelor Degree
• At least 8 - 10 years years of payroll experience for Singapore; knowledge of Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, ANZ and/or India will be a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent understanding of tax and other relevant statutory regulations for payroll in Singapore and APAC markets
• Good vendor management and communication skills
• Prior experience in managing a team
• Attention to details will be essential
• Prior experience in WorkDay system will be beneficial
