DESIGNATION : Manager (OB Packaged Sourcing) - Non Food

RESPONSIBILITIES
You are required to manages entire acquisition process for new product from sourcing, negotiating of prices and terms of contract. You will have to reviews existing OB portfolio to ensure continuous cost improvement.
The incumbents will be responsible for the following:

• Defines/translates product specifications based on commercial requirements, incl. quality and packaging
• Identifies new suppliers, e.g. through trade fairs and consulate relationships, and validate these suppliers.i.e. through site visits and coordinating vendor audits/certifications and AVA checks
• Prepares and runs sourcing tenders to surface potentially lower-cost suppliers
• Analyses tender results and prepare negotiations based on competitive offering and “should-be” costs (e.g. clean sheets)
• Negotiates and develops contracts with suppliers on volume, price, quality of products procured, and logistics/transport agreements, optimising for quality vs total cost and volume vs number of vendors procured from
• Engages in regular negotiation with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement
• Coordinates with signed suppliers/vendors as well as QA teams (internal and 3rd party) to ensure supplier maintains quality and service agreements
• Works with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost improvement and category innovation and coordinate implications with CMs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in any discipline
• Proven experience in managing suppliers /vendors and negotiating contracts/running tenders
• Experience with FMCG / grocery retailers would be a plus
• Ability to run tendering processing end to end
• Ability to create clean sheets
• Ability to run design-to-value optimisation a plus
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills both in person and on paper
• Adept at relationship building and networking, especially with suppliers and other departments
• Willingness to travel and work in different markets
