DESIGNATION : Manager (Key Account Management)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Incumbent will be exposed to the following work:- Strategy

  • Develop sales and channel strategy based on retail and consumer demand
  • Assist in developing specific product assortment strategy based on company and marketing’s strategic direction

Responsibilities
  • Planning and forecasting sales value and volume, annually and monthly
  • Follow up on planogram related subject and other business development opportunities, including but not limited to listing of product assortment to relevant clients
  • Maintaining a favourable relationship and strong rapport with clients/supermarket chains
  • Creating promotional plan align with company’s commercial objectives (marketing and trade marketing campaign), including but not limited to secondary display placement
  • Establishing and overseeing total key account budgets (sales target and trade spend budget) align with total company’s commercial objectives
  • Close tracking and monitoring of trade spend budget
  • Review effectiveness of strategy and ROI of promotional activities
  • Working with the internal stake holders on activity planning and pricing strategy
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with stakeholders
  • Prepare and present yearly joint business planning as require
  • Analysing client data as part of customer relationship management
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly sales report
  • Collect and share market intelligent that will facilitate future company’s growth
  • Managing operation as required by business

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or a related field.
  • Hands-on individual, able to go around different distributor’s stores island wide to assist or oversees operations
  • Minimum 5 years sales/operations experience in supermarket chain environment.
  • Knowledge of operation management best practices
  • Possess good analytical, decision making and visual merchandising skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel between Ubi and Joo Koon (if neccessary)
