Job Description

Job Purpose Integrated Maintenance Diagnostics Centre (IMDC) is a 24/7 maintenance operations centre which coordinates the conduct of maintenance activity for the sustainment of North-South and East-West Line. Based in Kim Chuan Depot, the maintenance controllers liaise with rolling stock, signal & communications, building & facilities, and permanent way department to ensure that faults and abnormalities are rectified timely. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Oversee daily maintenance control, coordinate recovery operations, and support SMRT Control Ops in crisis/contingency management. 2. Provide management with fault recovery status updates 3. Provide management with fault recovery status updates 4. Develop and refine fault reporting processes to improve linkages between the maintenance operations centre and maintenance units. 5. Plan maintenance coordination cell manning schedule. 6. Develop manpower training, development, and career progression plans of maintenance controllers 7. Support Trains Management Meetings 8. Work with SMRT Train/Control operations centre to develop and refine crisis and contingency plans. 9. Conduct table-top and ground-based exercises to ensure maintenance readiness for various crisis recovery scenarios. Qualifications and Work Experience

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in managing operations

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Ability to work on rotating shift: 0700 to 1300hrs; 1300hrs to 2300hrs; 2300 to 0700hrs

• Aptitude and openness to learn

• Team player and good communicator

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suit of products \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel, Power point, Teams and Power BI

• Able to read and write in English proficiently

• Maintenance cell leads and cell members.
