Job Description


:In this full-time role, you will report to the Assistant Director (Partnership Development) and be part of the dynamic Partnerships Development division. You will work with the Gallery\'s product champions to prepare compelling pitches to individuals, corporates and foundations to secure their support for the Gallery\'s exciting exhibitions and festivals. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of the donor\'s obligations to the Gallery and vice versa.You will focus on the following areas:Exhibition and Festival Partnership

  • Strategize the planning and execution of the overall fundraising and partnership strategy, working across the organization to ensure effective information sharing, planning, and execution.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and potential donors through marketing research, networking, and other means.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts.
  • Develop proposals and pitch materials to potential donors and lead negotiation of agreements and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive giving and partnership strategies aligned with the organization\'s goals and mission.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership by analyzing giving patterns and campaign performance
  • Maintain and grow the existing donor relationships and partnerships.
  • Conceptualize, organize, and lead cultivation and stewardship events throughout the year.
  • Grow institutional donor segments through preparation and pitching of fundraising and partnership proposals.
  • Work across the organization to develop sound policies and governance in fundraising, prospect research, community of practice, general fundraising, and partnership.
Stewardship
  • Co-lead account management and stewardship for the Gallery\'s Founding Partners including regular updates and delivery of privileges.
  • Lead strategically on partnership renewal discussions to ensure continued support.
  • Manage regular communications to key Partners, Festival & Programme partners and Grant Providers, including developing post-exhibition and gift impact reports.
  • Develop a robust donor stewardship program, including regular communication, recognition, and engagement activities.
Contributing to Partnership Development Division
  • Undertake secretarial duties and administrative support for internal meetings including Gallery\'s Development Committee meetings.
  • Support Partner Development\'s donor cultivation and stewardship events including signature fundraising events like Gallery Benefit (held biennially) and annual Donor\'s Appreciation events.
  • Execute appropriate ad hoc duties/events to further the goals of the Partnership Development various divisions.
Qualifications:Education/Training/Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, communications, arts or any other related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, philanthropy or a similar role, with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders and management
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and diverse relationships and the proven ability to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM databases
  • Passion for the mission of the Gallery and keen interest in arts and culture sector
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
