Job Description


What the role is:You will be working in multi-disciplinary teams to examine local disease trends, identify diseases for prioritisation for action and resource allocation. You will play a critical role in the Disease Strategy Office to support the development, implementation and monitoring of national end-to-end disease-specific strategies to achieve a reduction in the burden of prioritised non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Singapore. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:

  • Develop national end-to-end disease-specific strategies to reduce the disease burden in Singapore for prioritised non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer, ischaemic heart disease xe2x80xa2 Facilitate as well as track and monitor the implementation of the action plans and report on progress xe2x80xa2 Disease prioritisation to identify areas for improvement and resource allocation
What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary education in public health or healthcare related fields (e.g., nursing, pharmacy or allied health) would be advantageous xe2x80xa2 Highly driven and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate work across various functions xe2x80xa2 Able to work independently as well as in a team xe2x80xa2 Possess strong critical thinking, analytic and decision-making skills xe2x80xa2 Possess strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills xe2x80xa2 Experience in evidence review, strategic planning, project management and performing quantitative analysis would be advantageous Key Competencies Require xe2x80xa2 Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. xe2x80xa2 Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. xe2x80xa2 Improving & Innovating - Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. xe2x80xa2 Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
