Strategic direction

Included in this will be the creation and implementation of innovative and forward-thinking business plans that account for market differentials across the wider Singapore landscape.

You will play an active leadership role within the Singapore PDS Management Team, setting strategy for engineering advisory and project delivery by the team within the PDS business, which is part of our wider \xe2\x80\x9cWork Dynamics\xe2\x80\x9d division. You will have a key role in driving the overall performance of the advisory practice, across sales, operations, team management and project delivery. You will have the ability to collaborate and work with leaders of business lines outside the immediate confines of PDS to promote our \xe2\x80\x9cOne JLL\xe2\x80\x9d ethos that sets our clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and ambitions first. This will require you to gain an understanding of the wider organisation quickly and promote your own corporate profile.

Business sector and Team management

Our business sector leaders are responsible for the financial management of their business sector. PDS Singapore offers different products and services comprising Project Management, Construction Management / Management Contracting, Design, Design & Build and technical & development advisory services. It spans multiple sectors from commercial office to logistics & industrial, data centres, education, retail, and hotel.

As the architect of our future growth, you will understand that a well-managed team is the bedrock of a successful business. You will provide stewardship and guidance for the team(s) under your charge on projects and to manage the career development of your direct reports, through mentoring and coaching. You will implement resourcing strategies to ensure the right personnel and tools are always available for our clients and on projects. This will include the review of internal structures and integration plans to guarantee optimal operational efficiency.

Unlocking business opportunities, pursuing and winning work

Working in close collaboration with our sales and business development team, you will be required to support the pursuit of new work for the business, follow up on leads and opportunities, prepare proposals, meet with clients to pitch, and win new assignments, to achieve growth and revenue targets for the business.

An experienced and successful professional in the related field

Are you the go-to person for everything project related in the field of technical delivery for building services? Is your name the first that comes to mind when clients think of new projects in mechanical & electrical advisory or project management? That\xe2\x80\x99s exactly why we want you! Your exciting track record of successful projects, portfolio of repeat business wins and unparalleled skills in new business development will highlight your competency.

Prior knowledge in the logistics, industrial, manufacturing and/ or data centre sector is an advantage.

Your in-depth understanding of project management will drive process management and improvements. You will be comfortable managing teams and platforms spread over an ever-expanding portfolio of projects. You will be an experienced project leader capable of driving results and meeting project goals and timelines.

Proactive

Do you operate with a sense of urgency? You\xe2\x80\x99ll need a high EQ, be highly responsive and have a solutions orientated mind-set. You are able to effectively juggle priorities to meet timeframes and deadlines set by the business. In this role we want someone who is naturally decisive and prepared to take risks.

Essential skills

• Qualified building services engineering with minimum 15 years of local and international experience;
• Subject matter expert in technical delivery of engineering consultancy works, in mechanical and electrical background;
• Prior project management experience, including project planning, scope definition, technical due diligent would be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are a must, both internally and externally, would be able to communicate and present clearly and efficiently
