Job Description

\xc2\xb7 Salary Budget up to $4500

\xc2\xb7 Working hours is Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 6pm.

\xc2\xb7 Telecommunications Company /Bedok

:

• Monitoring the performance and capacity of the company\'s servers and network infrastructure.
• Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems
• Responding to network alerts and hardware malfunctions. Perform basic diagnostic and troubleshooting.
• Handling and prioritising level 2 tickets related to customer faults and achieving resolutions within agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
• Work closely with level 2 support and other colleagues or vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Track and document network issues and compile incident reports
• Manage system backups and network security protocols
• Complete assigned daily tasks to ensure optimal network performance and end service for customers
• Adhere to client policies, including but not limited to IT Security and GDPR Policies
• The job will require candidate to work on Shift deployment, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be physically located in Singapore, this is not a remote position
• Ability to work well under pressure

Qualification:

• Diploma in IT/EEE,
• Higher Nitec in IT/Higher Nitec in Electronics Engineering (specializing in IoT and Communications)

Required skill-sets:

• Basic knowledge on server hardware and operating system (Linux). - Basic knowledge on network protocols such as TCP/IP
• Knowledge on KVM (monitor, keyboard, mouse) to connect to server in the data centre.
• Coordinating computer network access and use
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Good-to-have skill-sets:

• Linux system administration and network engineering skills will be an advantage.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures
• Experience working as a data centre or NOC engineer data centre would be an added advantage

Other requirements:

• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
