Nurse Manager
Job Description
Based in clinic located at Orchard Road
Lead, supervise, mentor and roster the nursing team
Perform and oversee all clinical nursing duties including medication administration, IV cannulation/venipuncture, assisting in minor theatre procedures and cataract/day-surgery cases
Coordinate pre and post-operative nursing care for all surgical patients
Conduct patient counselling for all ophthalmic procedures; ensure informed consent process is thorough and well-documented
Plan, coordinate and maintain availability and sterility of instruments, equipment, consumables and emergency trolleys
Oversee stock management, regular stock-taking, expiry checks and procurement of medications, surgical supplies and contact lenses
Implement and monitor clinic infection control policies, JCI/ISO standards and MOH regulations
Conduct regular nursing audits, quality improvement projects and training sessions
Act as the key liaison between doctors, patients and external vendors
Handle patient feedback and clinical incidents; perform root-cause analysis when necessary
Step in to cover clinical duties during peak periods or staff shortages
Assist in onboarding and competency assessment of new nurses
Eye trained preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
