THE JOB

Role: Vice President - Wholesale Lending Structuring team

Location: Singapore (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysing, structuring, selling and executing deal for Bank\'s existing and target clients in the loan transactions arena (investment grade (IG) and sub-IG bilateral, club and syndicated)
• Analyse, evaluate and advise client on borrowing requirements and risk involved in both term loans and revolving credit facilities (RCFs), so as to achieve profitable and appropriate returns on capital deployed
• Liaise with Bank\'s Product, Credit and Transaction Management teams to ensure that smooth transaction of deals
• Proactively understand, identify, formulate and strategically propose areas of opportunities and growth, whilst providing constructive feedback against the market trends
• Be instrumental and a team player in contributing to towards ongoing effort of proposing, formulating and implementing tactical and strategic business initiative.
• Possess and continually develop a client facing profile to generate revenue and profit for the Bank\'s lending business.
• Support and actively take on a mentoring approach to junior team members

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in any field
• Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a corporate banking lending environment, or similar
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven track record in possessing credit risk analytical skills
• Competent in sales and negotiation tactics, understanding legal documents and credit process
• Good understanding complex funding structures and various loan products
• Demonstration of industry expertise in current landscape of debt markets and regulatory environment
