The \xe2\x80\x9cOmega Life Competency Center\xe2\x80\x9d is a Scor Life & Health global function, acting as the Product Owner of OMEGA 2, which is SCOR main platform for treaty administration and technical sub ledger. Omega Life Competency Center actively supports users of OMEGA in all locations, maintains the backlog of the platform\xe2\x80\x99s evolutions, in coordination with Scor IT and promotes process optimization through the Business Unit (eg. automation, harmonization, share of best practices, guidelines, etc)
The Omega Life Competency Center is composed of 3 FTEs in Paris, one in Dublin and one in Singapore. In this context, the Omega Life Competency Center seeks to reinforce its capacity in APAC (South Asia, North Asia, China, Autralia & New Zealand), to continuously support the local administration teams, and is searching for \xe2\x80\x9c Omega Senior Business Manager \xe2\x80\x9d .
He/she has a strong expertise in administration /operations and technical accounting in the insurance/ reinsurance industry.
As an Omega Senior Business Manager, you will be in charge of :
Supporting local Operations, Technical Accounting & Valuation teams, with a focus on APAC markets, with their daily activities relating to:
Assumed and retrocession treaty administration
Booking
Settlements
Estimates
Quarterly closings
Financial & management reporting
Supporting the head of Omega Life Competency Center as the L&H Omega Product Owner in defining the business vision for the platform, representing the business requirements and managing the backlog of evolutions, including participating to the platform maintenance and evolution activities.
Foster continuous Omega processes improvements and automation and conduct associated change management
Educate on Omega best practices and business rules
Ensure alignment between Life &Health Business users\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and the platform roadmap
Centralize discussions on Administration / technical accounting Finance process improvements and maintain a common process and user guides repository
Monitor the utilization of Omega (including Data Quality) and user\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction
Facilitate the user\xe2\x80\x99s community in APAC
Become an Omega expert to support local users with their daily activities / challenges
Maintain strong relationships within the community of users and stakeholders.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in administration / operations and technical accounting in the insurance / reinsurance industry or as a consultant working on administration / operations and technical accounting in the insurance / reinsurance industry
Preferred:Good understanding of Life & Health reinsurance operations activities. Experience with transformation projects
