Location: Central Permanent Role Office hours, Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00 pm Sector: Maritime transport Direct supervisor: Deputy Manager of Domestic Business Basic Pay: SGD 3,500 - SGD 4,500 (Depends on experience) Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to handle Ocean Import and Export operations\xef\xbc\x9b
- Liaise and coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders for outbound and inbound shipments
- Booking, coordinating transportation, permit declaration, trailer, packing and other operations, tracking services throughout the process, and always contacting customers to ensure the normal shipment of goods
- Track and feedback cargo loading date
- Preparation and verification of corresponding bills
- System entry, input of receivables and payables and other expenses
- Assist in the collection of customers\' receivables
- Handle all kinds of emergencies and report to them in a timely manner
- Timely response and actively follow up with Customer needs and queries
- Documentation and filings
- Assist or take on any other duties as required and assigned
- Diploma: College degree and above
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the shipping and logistics industry
- Highly resourceful in gathering needed information
- Familiar with American Line would be an advantage
- Proficient in using MS OFFICE and familiar with business systems
- Excellent Chinese and English communication skills
- High sense of service and enthusiasm for work
- Strong learning and execution ability
- Able to work under pressure and strong team spirit
- Familiarity with the cargo wise system is preferred
- Logistic background is welcome
