Purpose and Scope

\xc2\xb7 To manage a Water / Wastewater treatment plant operation in meeting performance targets of reliability and availability complying fully with SOPs, GHSSE and all relevant regulatory requirements

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with customer working team to ensure off-spec influent is managed effectively

Key Roles and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 In charge of the Water / Wastewater treatment plant by monitoring process parameters, managing plant logistics and working with maintenance to ensure plant equipment is maintained to assure reliability

\xc2\xb7 Water and wastewater treatment plant optimization

\xc2\xb7 Supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective performance of the plant

\xc2\xb7 Review and implement SOPs, shift reports, and plant operating performance

\xc2\xb7 Enforce safety in the Water / Wastewater plant by ensuring safety equipment are inspected regularly by the shift technicians, and all jobs have been carried out in accordance with GHSSE and regulatory requirement.

\xc2\xb7 Support overseas plant operation troubleshooting and commissioning.

\xc2\xb7 Support Plant Manager in developing and implementing AOP for customers.

\xc2\xb7 Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

\xc2\xb7 Altering plant process parameters / chemical dosing after consultation with Operation Lead and Performance Excellence Lead

\xc2\xb7 Plan for overtime and leave coverage for technicians

Qualifications & Experience

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Chemical engineering / Environmental engineering

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years operation experience in Water / Wastewater treatment plant

\xc2\xb7 Good team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

\xc2\xb7 Proactive in keeping up with new technologies and looking for solutions to optimize plant operations

\xc2\xb7 Independent with initiatives, resourceful and positive attitude.

\xc2\xb7 Possess good leadership skills

\xc2\xb7 Willing to travel to support water operations outside Singapore
