Job Description

Assist VP Operations to supervise and manage Ferry/Cruise terminal(s) and to provide services of the best value to our customers.

Responsibilities Functional:

• Ensure effective day-to-day running of the terminal.
• Maintain service quality standards in operation processes to meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction and organisation\xe2\x80\x99s obligations to regulator & other agencies.
• Adopt continuous improvement approach to improve operation processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective terminal-ship-passenger operations.
• Pre-empting & solving passenger\xe2\x80\x99s problems on the ground.
• Thorough safety & security inspection of premises to detect and remedy any gaps.
• Manage P&L of the terminal.
• Manage emergency and contingency planning to ensure operational readiness during crisis.
• Manage operations policy and service standard setting for effective and efficient operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and recovery of charges to achieve financial efficiency.
• Engage in any other terminal operation projects.
• Prepare monthly operations management report to analyze operations performance.
• Prepare passenger & vessel traffic forecast for management analysis

• Vessel berth allocation to customers.
• Terminal facilities and equipment allocation to customers.
• Optimise deployment of resources.
• Prioritise and effect damage-control mechanisms

• Minimum 10 years of supervisory position in Operations
• Good Knowledge of Ship and port operations.
• Good Knowledge of port water and geography of ship/ferry destinations.
• Prior experience in Terminal operations is preferred
• Effective oral and written reporting skill
