Manage contract service providers to ensure optimum delivery of various outsourced support services, to provide operations support to staff, patients and their families.
Ensure that all servicing and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities and equipment are carried out to ensure the safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement policies and processes to meet Green Mark certification standard and regulatory requirements, manage all matters relating to fire safety, risk management and incident investigation.
Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the applicable industrial guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.
Develop and mentor staff for performance excellence and career development.
Compile and validate all key performance indicators and determine area for improvement on the outsource partners monthly performances.
Provide weekly roll-calls to the staff as assigned.
Maintains high standard and up keep of the facility in the building.
Effective implementation of strategies (e.g. ERP) that will ensure a safe workplace
Develop and implement policies, processes and standards to meet all regulatory requirements (e.g. SCDF and FSSB requirements)
Establish training programmes to implement initiatives.
Manage matters on Fire safety, risk assessment and incident investigation.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in facilities management preferably in a healthcare environment
Preferably registered as a Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defence Force
Mature, self-driven and a clear focus on high quality outcomes.
Able to lead with collaborative management style to motivate teams to get work done in an effective and efficient manner.
Flexible, resourceful and able to perform despite tight schedule.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with people of all levels
