About this role:
We are looking for an Operations Manager with hands-on disposition and customer-oriented mindset
to provide leadership and deliver operational excellence through efficient policy administration and
timely follow-through. The role plays an important part in the sales process by acting as the key liaison
between product providers and salespeople for all policy processing and follow-up matters. This role
reports to CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of operational staff to handle insurance policy processing and administration.
• Liaise with product providers and internal teams to establish purposeful and relevant

operational processes

• Timely and thoroughly follow through day-to-day operational matters and queries from the

sales force for speedy turnaround

• Serve as the subject matter expert in internal workgroups and process improvement

projects to continuously design and redesign operational processes for simplicity and
relevance

• Ensure processes comply with necessary regulatory, controls and governance requirements
• Maintain and keep operations SOPs up-to-date
• Able to think and plan ahead to anticipate issues and risks and provide solutions to mitigate

impact

• Keep current on the relevant industry regulations

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder in any discipline
• At least 5 years' supervisory experience managing a team of operational staff in a customer oriented

environment

• Hands-on leadership to guide, motive and manage team members
• Team player and mindful people manager with good communication skills to collaborate and

influence outcomes

• Down-to-earth personality with good eye for operational details and passion for operational

efficiency

• Prior background in policy/transaction management from insurance, fund management or

other financial services institutions would be advantageous
