Company Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and dynamic regional asset management firm looking to expand their Investment Operations team in Singapore.



Fund Management Operations

  • Support Fund Management operations including investment operations, portfolio valuations, transfer agency support, perform AML/KYC for client on-boarding, ongoing due diligence, fund and client data management, preparation of regulatory reports, supporting the end to end operating model
  • Support end-to-end operational function including transfer agency support, trade support, settlements, reconciliations & corporate action
  • Fund setup including but not limited to establishment of investment vehicles, opening bank accounts, brokerage accounts, custody account
  • Manage the relationship of service providers supporting operational functions including performing necessary performance & regulatory due diligence
  • Support internal operational risks testing and assessment
Middle Office Operations
  • Perform AML/KYC assessment and approval for investor and counterparty onboarding
  • Assisting FATCA & CRS Responsible Officer in FATCA & CRS implementation and reporting for the firm and the funds
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree holder, preferably a diploma/degree in Finance, Engineering or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in a Financial Institution - Asset Management/Investment firms preferred
  • Good knowledge of more than one Financial Markets product or business type - for example detailed knowledge and/or practical experience/deep understanding of more than one area within Financial Markets (Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities, Treasury)
  • Familiarity with MAS rules/Singapore compliance issues would be advantageous
  • Adaptable to a dynamic work environment with an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive and influence change
  • Comfortable communicating with senior management
  • Effective design and procedural writing skills
  • Hands-on approach. strong analytically, implementation and follow-through skill
  • Independent and meticulous
