Fi Woodfire Thai (??) is Singapore's first wood?fired Thai restaurant, now located at Shaw Centre. We specialize in authentic Thai cuisine elevated by our signature double?insulated wood fire oven, blazing at up to 450?C to imbue every dish with smoky depth and bold flavour.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Outlet Chef / Head Chef
to lead kitchen operations and uphold our culinary standards. You will be responsible for overseeing woodfire cooking, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with restaurant ownership in menu development and service execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, and end?of?day procedures.
Manage our wood?fired oven to deliver signature smoke?infused Thai dishes.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all menu offerings.
Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff to maintain momentum and morale.
Work with management on menu innovation and seasonal concept rollouts.
Maintain hygiene, safety standards, and inventory control.
Qualifications:
At least
5 years' experience
in upscale Thai kitchens, with
leadership experience
preferred.
Strong expertise in
wood?fire cooking
and Thai flavour profiles.
Creative culinary vision paired with practical efficiency.
Team?oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Well?organized and committed to smooth kitchen flow and high standards.
