It has become an iconic event in the local arts calendar that is widely attended by international film critics, and known for its dynamic programming and focus on groundbreaking Asian cinema for Singapore and the region. Committed to nurturing and championing local and regional talent, its competition component, the Silver Screen Awards, brings together emerging filmmakers from Asia and Southeast Asia while paying tribute to acclaimed cinema legends. With its mentorship programmes, masterclasses and dialogues with attending filmmakers, the Festival also serves as a catalyst for igniting public interest, artistic dialogue, and cultural exchanges in the art of filmmaking. Partnerships & Development Executive

Job Scope:

Assist the Partnerships & Development Manager in execution of the Festival\'s sponsorship and partnership strategy to achieve fundraising targets.

Assist to establish, manage and grow relationships with existing and new sponsors and donors, including fulfillment of sponsorship entitlements and deliverables in a timely manner.

Support in the smooth running and execution of all sponsor-related and fundraising-related activities and events.

Assist in the development of sponsorship presentations, proposals and grant writing, complete detailed post-event reports and data analysis.

Support in the maintaining of the individual donor and sponsorship database and collating RSVPs for events with sponsor invitations.

Providing administrative support in tracking all entitlements and benefits for sponsors, partners, fundraising and individual donors.

Requirements:

At least a Diploma in Arts Management, Media, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent, with preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages a plus.

Driven, proactive, able to work independently and yet a good team player.

Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Confidence in interacting with all levels of people.

Able to work independently.

Proficiency in graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator) is an advantage.

Candidates with experience in developing sales/sponsorship pitches and proposals will be at an advantage.

Some events experience will be an advantage.

Interest in film and/or the arts is preferred.

Period of Engagement: April 2023 to 31 January 2024. There will be a two week unpaid break from 15 December to 31 December 2023

SGIFF currently has a hybrid working policy in place with time split between the office and working from home. Closer to the festival dates and various events, more time will be required at the SGIFF office or at various venues.
