A challenging and exciting Performance Analyst (one year contract) job has become available at a leading US-based chemicals company. The analyst will work closely with respective finance team across Asia and the business team in Singapore. About the Performance Analyst (one-year contract) Role:
Reporting to the regional finance manager, you will assist in business partnering with manufacturing and supply chains to enable effective decision making in operations. Key Responsibilities

• Support in monthly reporting processes
• Develop, improve and track global operations key performance indicators
• Identify streamlining opportunities in business processes and reporting systems to increase productivity and create value in pursuit of continuous operational excellence
• Formulate financial models (What If Analysis) that will be used to drive a range of business decisions like demand management, supply strategy, capital investments and distribution structure
• Monitor key performance indicators through producing critical reporting
• Enable process improvement in operations reporting
• Streamline reporting systems and processes to increase productivity
• Perform financial evaluations

To succeed in this Performance Analyst role, you will need to be meticulous, analytical and be willing to learn. Key Requirements:

• A strong ability to work with large amounts of data with skills gained through a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, statistics or similar disciplines
• Fresh graduate and professionals with up to three years of relevant work experience
• Good business acumen, especially understanding of end-to-end value chain of operations.
• Strong business process analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong spreadsheet skills, knowledge of SAP ERP and data warehouse is preferred
• Challenges assumptions and pushes thinking
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and having the boldness to establish new processes, systems and mechanisms
