Responsible for all credit perspective of the applications including ensuring compliance/adherence with credit policies, guidelines and regulations, portfolio review
Ensure that the process is efficiently managed and that all applications are processed on a timely basis
Review appeals on status relating to the application and resolve them effectively
Work with other business units (sales, portfolio, outsourcing) to ensure that the smooth transition of operations across units
Review the approval process and ensuring compliance to all internal and regulatory guidelines
Review the policies on a regular basis and make changes as and when required so as to ensure that it is relevant to the current market conditions
Collate data for monthly reporting and assist to prepare reports as required
Advise Personal Bankers and Team Managers on credit related issues
Recommend and approve limits up to the appropriate delegated authority
Involved in system enhancement projects as and when required
Assist in all administrative functions of the Consumer Credit Operations Unit
