An opportunity exists for a highly motivatedprofessional to join the service and parts team within the growingOperations area. The role will perform regional planning &procurement functions to meet the targeted fill rate and manageinventory for regional service support by providing support acrossindividual countries within Asia Pacific to maintain a smooth flowof parts and products, maintain & improve processes in inventorymanagement, new product introduction, and part obsolescence.Additional responsibilities include managing backlog and inventoryexposure by reducing new buys and maximizing repair on servicestock, anticipate shortfalls and maintain replenishment to meet theneeds of customers in Asia Pacific. There will be collaborationwith various functional groups – Commodity Managers, QualityEngineers, Finance & Distribution centers to compile, validate,communicate and implement service & distribution plans that supportthe business strategies.

  • 4-6 years experience in a Planning&/or Procurement role, with tertiaryqualifications.
  • Experience in Reverse Logistics orService Parts industry is preferred.
  • Able to remain focused and work underpressure, prioritize competing demands and deadlines whilstmulti-tasking.
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability andproblem solving skills in a changing, dynamicenvironment.
  • Able to work independently and work withregional and global team to deliver results.
  • Able to communicate well in English andwork effectively across functions and at all levels as well as invirtual teams.
  • Meticulous with a strong business acumenand customer satisfaction focus.
  • Demonstrate innovation to drivecontinuous improvement in processes
  • Experience with SAP, in particular R3MM/PP as well as APO, and Excel is preferred

- Achieve target fill rate, minimize backlog and expeditebacklog recovery. - Daily update of backlog recovery plan to Depot,Retail and Service Channel operations. - Maximize inventory turns,reduce New Buy by maximize Repairs. - Maintain data integrity andsystem data. - Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) in region. -Manage stock transfers, forecast accuracy, review safety stock andcautionary parts. - Optimize planning processes. - Determine packplan and production orders. - Prepare reporting for Inventory &Excess, Repair Cycle Time, Backlog Status for management review. -Manage parts repair turnaround by expediting and streamliningrepair cycle and drive parts return from channel. - Manage externalgoods shipments and receipt, resolving discrepancies. - Drivereplenishment and local procurement/ repair management. - Manageprocurement and repair activities, validating pricing and paymentrequirements. - Work with Global Materials and Engineering formaterial changes.
