  • You will be part of a growing team supporting Murex\xe2\x80\x99s expansion in APAC through the acquisition of new accounts and cross-selling activities at existing ones.
  • Through the sale cycle, the team jointly works with business development and client management functions to organise, monitor and report on presales operations. It collaborates closely with other Client Services (CS) teams (functional & technical domains, professional services, Service Offer, Legal etc.) on the execution of all presales tasks such as: opportunities qualification, request for information (RFI) / request for proposal (RFP), demos, proof of concepts (POC), review of project estimations and statement of work (SOW)\xe2\x80\xa6
  • You will oversee the services presales activities for a wide range of professional services (PS). This includes:
    • Leading the professional services (PS) offer as part of prospects\xe2\x80\x99 RFI/RFP answers,
    • Promoting Murex offers for managed services,
    • Preparing service estimations with business development, presales owner and contributors,
    • Executing presentations covering service offers and activities.
    • Building and maintaining service presales materials (e.g. slides for all service offerings, local database of past project estimations, enhanced estimation models, implementation use cases from past projects, etc.),
    • Monitoring the execution of presales activities, ensuring the status on each opportunity is accurately and timely documented in corporate systems and reporting on progress to the management,
    • Working with the Central Presales Function on the standardization of services presales processes and tooling (service proposal enhancements, RFP helper updates for services topics, estimation models, sharing and improving presales artefacts, etc.)
  • Working directly with clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business needs, you will craft offers addressing their needs, and position Murex as a trusted business partner,
  • You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of successful project methodologies expected by financial firms,
  • You will demonstrate how the Murex project approach best fits prospects requirements from multiple perspectives (including prospect\xe2\x80\x99s objectives, resources and partners),
  • You will showcase competency through proven experience and knowledge of implementing the solution at existing similar clients.

Responsibilities: Pre-sale to Prospects
  • Deliver excellent presentations to prospects. At every stage of the sales cycle, you will demonstrate the capacity to clearly explain service offers and their benefits, and to articulate an adequate value proposition for the prospect,
  • Ensure all Service Offers meet client expectations, maximize Murex revenues, protect Murex interests, comply with Murex vision, and that Murex engagement with all parties (Client/System Integrators/Murex) is formalized (including SoW preparation),
  • Make sure that major risks and Murex commitments related to the delivery are under control and shared with internal stakeholders,
  • Build trust with the client/prospect teams,
  • Promote delivery methodologies and innovations adoption to qualified prospects (new services, products, methodologies),
  • Lead the service estimations, high-level project plans activities during early stages of the opportunity (relying on presales contributors only to review estimations prepared by the Presales Services Consultant),
  • Present Murex services offers and related estimations to prospects.
  • Once Murex is officially selected as the preferred vendor, smoothly hand-over services work to the appointed Project Manager. Ensure they receive all the information and support needed to lead the pre-scoping workshop, finalise detailed estimations with the domains after the workshop, and prepare the final SOW.

Drive the industrialization of presales services activities across APAC
  • Lead a systematic capitalization of Murex service proposals and estimations. Work closely with the various Murex teams (including business development, professional services, central presales, domains) to reuse and fasten the production of estimations for the next opportunities,
  • Proactively prepare and update artefacts in collaboration with Professional Services team to support business development with realistic use cases to be shared with prospects,
  • Share return on experience and feedback with all contributing parties on what is well perceived by prospects, what is not, potential offer evolutions etc. Propose and support initiatives aiming to improving methodology, presales processes, services offer descriptions and other artefacts,
  • Review new service offers to be sold in APAC. Work with the Functional Product, Technical Product and Service Offer domains to ensure the new packages are priced and estimated accurately for our markets, by developing adequate estimation models, project methodology and supporting tools.

Collaborate:
  • Regionally with cross-department/domain members to deliver successful RFI/RFP, demo and POC activities and globally with other presales services leads from other regions to streamline services presales processes.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 working experience in capital markets/finance technology industry, with solid pre-sales experience.
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in the capital markets.
  • Experience with selling services is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful presentations and demonstrations to prospects (including showcasing professional services offers)
  • Skilled in establishing and developing key relationships with the prospect during and following presentations,
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, proficiency in other native Asian languages will be highly advantageous.

  • Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines, multi-tasking,
  • Strong culture of asking, giving & receiving feedback.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
