Job summary Amazon Web Service’s Private Pricing Operations (PPO) team is looking for a talented Senior Approvals Operations Manager to support AWS’ dynamic and rapidly growing business. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the computing and service industry providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, delivery, database services, browsers and more. Key job responsibilities The Senior Approvals Operations Manager will be responsible for improving operational efficiency of Private Pricing approvals, while ensuring the approvals process operates seamlessly to maximize deal velocity while maintaining a high quality and consistent output. You will define the organizational and short and long-term goals for the team. You identify opportunities and define the to achieve organization-wide objectives. You streamline or eliminate excess process. You influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate problems that stifle innovation. • Executive level written and oral communication skills
• Legal experience, or strong finance background demonstrating a high level of analytical aptitude
