Job Description

Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects Conduct quantity surveys to determine material, labor, and time requirements for accurate project costing Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular reports and forecasts to management Conduct site measurements and valuations, preparing and submitting progress claims and payments Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up on outstanding orders Review and analyze supplier performance, pricing, and contracts to secure cost savings Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, contracts, and supplier databases Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and other internal departments to coordinate purchasing and cost control activities Stay updated on market trends and new products to identify opportunities for cost savings and recommend alternative solutions * Assist in resolving discrepancies related to invoices, deliveries, and contractual issues
