Job Description

• Position: Procurement Manager
• Location: Bukit Merah
• Working hours: Mon-Fri
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7,000 + Transport Allowance + AWS/Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Building materials

Main Responsibilities:

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing materials, products, equipment, services, and supplies.
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
• At least possess a Diploma.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems, especially in the Marble and Sanitaryware industry.
• Minimum 3 years\' experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
• Good understanding of delivery and foreign exchange risks.
