An exciting Procurement Manager job opportunity has become available at a leading FMCG company in Singapore.

About the Procurement Manager Role:
This role reports to the Operations Director and will allow the successful candidate to work closely with all functions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of developing new contract manufacturers or material suppliers in the region
• Partner closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams as required for projects
• Help achieve corporate supplier reliability, sustainability, resilience, and risk management goals
• Monitor performance of strategic suppliers and drive continuous improvement and innovation
• Drive key procurement activities, including supplier base development, contracts, G2G, strategic sourcing, data analysis, negotiations, supply innovation
• Support procurement KPI and relevant report development
• Travel: Up to 60%

To be successful within this role, you will need strong contract manufacturer sourcing experience with any experience working within FMCG being desirable.

Key Requirements:

• BS/BA degree is required
• Eight or more years of supply chain experience, five or more years within procurement, FMCG industry is preferred
• Ability to work independently, coupled with analytical curiosity and collaborative style
• Ability to effectively communicate across the organisation in a fast growing and complex organisation
• Proven programme management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams
• Ability to analyse and interpret diverse industry, culture, and category characteristics
• Strong command of English with other language capabilities as a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems
