Spend Analysis for Vendor / BU / Product
Partner the BU / Product early at the deal development stage to optimise vendor strategy negotiation outcomes.
Move up the procurement value chain into the pre-sales stage to align vendor strategy and approach
Responsible for leading deal by deal procurement for buy-to-sell (B2S) spend in the category / project procurement process for Group Enterprise / NCS Business, driving procurement cost optimisation
Lead vendor selection and price negotiation in the category / project procurement process, leveraging relevant strategic sourcing initiatives.
Take lead on managing end-to-end procurement process for Buy-To-Sell. (hardware/software/services, including vendor selection (in most cases), pricing negotiation, order placement, order fulfilment, and vendor performance management
Ensure that procurement process is managed in adherence to existing procurement policies and processes
Support and execute relevant category / strategic sourcing initiatives
Review and ensure compliance for vendor contract award requests from stakeholders
Support order placement and fulfilment with the vendors
Manage vendor performance and provide timely vendor feedback to Global Partnership / Vendor Management team
Engage stakeholders and support training initiatives to improve their knowledge of procurement policies and processes
Closely engage stakeholders and provide regular feedback
Build close professional relationships with suppliers
Optimise procurement processes for faster business turnaround
Improve and streamline procurement related business processes by taking an End-to-End ownership perspective
Enhance business processes from pre to post sales stages, and contract award to PO stages.
Work with internal stakeholders and GE Procurement systems team to enhance systems and processes e.g. VQS & QH
Is this you?
Bachelor\'s Degree
At least 5 years of experience in buy-to-sell ICT product sourcing, procurement category management or relevant experience
Excellent people management skills, able to build relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders across BUs
Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel (Pivot table, V-Lookup, formula)
Experience in leading and conducting supplier negotiations
Broad experience working across entire procurement process, from supplier selection to order fulfilment
Bonus if have domain knowledge in Telco and ICT products and services
Able to work independently under tight deadlines, take initiative and be proactive
Good team player
