TikTok seeks a product marketing professional with a background in digital media and ad tech to lead product strategy and go-to-market for for our suite of Core Ads solutions in APAC (web ads, app ads, gaming ads etc). Sitting in the Product Strategy & Operations organization, this is a role with time spent on managing a team as well as working on products as an individual contributor. The role involves close collaboration with both in-market sales and global product teams in a high growth environment. Abilities to self-motivate, prioritize projects and influence cross functional partners are key skills. Ideal candidate should have experience working with digital advertising products in a product marketing capacity.
1. Lead and manage a team of Product Marketing Managers focused on the suite of Core Ads products to achieve product adoption and product development goals.
2. Coach and support team through setting priorities, unblocking issues, continual feedback and career development.
3. Build the communication bridge between in-market and global teams, and lead cross-functional collaboration for product planning and launch with Sales leadership, Product Management, Marketing Science etc.
4. Define and execute the short term and long term product strategy for TikTok Core Ads product suite in APAC including product positioning, value propositions, future growth etc.
5. Develop and execute regional programs, initiatives and sales enablement activities to increase adoption of key products and solutions.
6. Analyze, evaluate and synthesize market opportunities, in-market feedback and customer problems to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
1. Bachelor's degree or above.
2. 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, product management, digital advertising or relevant experience with a strong focus on performance/direct response marketing and app marketing.
3. Strong leadership skills, whether with direct team or indirectly with cross-functional teams.
4. Ability to motivate team and drive outcomes, unblocking issues where needed.
5. Track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
6. Ability to set priorities, problem solve, and multi-task.
7. Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
8. A commercial and data-driven mindset, with ability to use data in storytelling.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Possess a strong knowledge of trends in the eCommerce and gaming industry in APAC, and strong understanding of advertiser's digital marketing objectives for these industries.
2. Ability and desire to solve complex problems with data and quantitative analytical skills.
3. Experience leading a team and as a people manager.
