Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise \xe2\x80\x93 always inspiring more \xe2\x80\xa6Production Technician (Scent & Care), SingaporeAs a Production Technician leading out Scent & Care business unit, you will be responsible to perform production operations for Fragrances, Cosmetic Ingredients and Mint Products for Oral Care in accordance to safety guidelines, standard requirements and standard operation procedure (SOP). These activities include electronic weighing scale and automated dosing machine operations, replenishment of raw materials, compounding, packing and labelling and other administrative tasks such as documentation. You will be required to carry up to 25kg of materials, cleaning of drums and perform basic troubleshooting. Additionally, you will be trained to operate electric stackers and pallet jacks. You are expected to commit 2 weekly rotating shifts and comfortable working in a strong smelling environment. Lastly, you will direct report to respective Production Shift Lead.The Position:

• To compound raw materials for Fragrances, Cosmetic Ingredients and Mint Products for Oral Care in accordance to work order with minimal supervision and wastage.
• To replenish raw materials and maintain at optimal level for production usage
• To perform automated dosing machine and electronic weighing scale operations in a safe manner
• To execute basic troubleshooting if required.
• To operate mechanical pumps and diaphragm pumps during production process and in transferring to respective drums
• To perform cleaning for respective drums to prepare for packing process
• To be trained to operate electric stackers and pallet jacks to transport materials to warehouse
• To document and record packed drums and yield gains and losses.
• To perform production process in PPE and in accordance to work instruction and standard operation procedure.

• Diploma and/or Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Industry
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• A team player, independent, inquisitive
• Meticulous, structured and attentive.
• Able to carry up to 25kg and withstand strong smelling environment
• Able to commit weekly rotational shift.
